Properties

Facts

  • Dries by physically evaporating water.

  • One coat of Woodzil dries in about 15 minutes at 20 degrees Celsius, and provides a protective hard and tack-preventing layer by mineral particles bonding to the surface.

  • Hydrophobic polymers and mineral particles interact and give the surface a water and anti-foul feature.

  • The hard mineral reinforced surface counteracts algae and mold to gain a foothold on the wood fiber.

  • The good wetting to the wood surface means that even new pressure-impregnated wood, which is surface-dry, can be treated. However, cleaning and dry wood are a prerequisite for a good result.

  • Health and the environment: an increasingly guiding environmental symbol for colors is the designation, VOC. VOC describes the content of volatile chemicals. Within Woodzil's application, the EU allows VOCs to be <120g / l. Woodzil represents a value of <5g / liter which makes it the lowest on the market in its category.
